Councillor Ainsley Arnold

Cheshire East Councillor for Tytherington Ward

Cllr. Ainsley Arnold is the Conservative Councillor for Macclesfield Tytherington.  He has been the councillor since May 2015.

Ainsley has lived locally with his family for over 38 years. He represented local residents as their councillor on both Macclesfield Borough Council and Cheshire East Council for 15 years.

Ainsley has worked with numerous local organisations over his many years of public service. As a member of the executive of the Community Transport / Dial A Ride organisation, a director of Macclesfield Silk Museum and a past long standing governor of Bollinbrook School to highlight just a few.  He was also Vice Chairman of Cheshire Police Authority.

Ainsley was made an Honorary Alderman of Cheshire East in 2011 for his service to the community, he is currently a governor at Fallibroome Academy.
