Originally from London, I moved to Cheshire in 2018 and now live on a small farm in Wildboarclough, near the Derbyshire–Cheshire border. I’m an academic specialising in public policy and administration, with current research focusing on homelessness and seldom-heard groups.
Away from work, I’m a keen walker often exploring my ward with my dog, Hera. I have a passion for discovering rare and forgotten cocktails, and enjoy travel, theatre, and time with friends. For the past few years, I’ve taken on small but memorable roles in our village pantomime.
Elected in May 2023 to represent the large, rural Sutton ward — covering Rainow, Macclesfield Forest, Wildboarclough, Wincle, Langley, Lyme Green and Sutton Lane Ends — I serve on the Council’s Corporate Policy, Finance Sub, and Economy & Growth Committees. I’m also a governor at King’s School, Macclesfield, and a member of the Peak District National Park Authority.
