Disley & Newtown Branch
Disley & Newtown is a growing Parish nestled between the Peak District and the South Manchester commuter belt. Local landmarks within the Parish include Lyme Park, Bowstones, and the Peak Forest Canal.
Our Branch works hard to support the local community with four Councillors on the Parish Council. We also work closely with David Rutley MP on a broad range of local and national issues affecting our constituents.
The Branch and our Councillors have been particularly active on a number of local issues including; The A6 Corridor, preservation of the Green Belt, developing community facilities, and setting up a community volunteer scheme during the COVID crisis.
The Branch meets regularly, and new members can be assured of a warm welcome from a friendly approachable team.
